Sign up begins at 7:20 am and readings start at 7:45 and continue throughout breakfast. Reading times are as follows:
- Poems – 3 minutes
- Short Stories / Non-Fiction – 5 minutes
- Plays – 10 minutes

Mark D. Muhammad
Mark Muhammad is an associate professor in the English/Reading/Communication department at his alma mater, Onondaga Community College, where he received an associate’s degree in Business Technology. He has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s renowned School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and a master’s degree in Speech Communication from Syracuse University. Currently, he is a doctoral student in the Executive Leadership Program at St. John Fisher College, and serves on the Syracuse City School District’s Board of Education.
